Remnants and By-products

2013

Using the left over materials from my previous body of work, I attempted to create forms without a predetermined meaning, but with an involuntary assumption of how these materials should work together. Much like how we interpret unknown remnants from the past. More often than not, we use our own societal baggage and bias as a tool of powerful inference that serves to weave together a linear story more palpable for our point of view. These pieces turned out to serve as a physical manifestation of an attempt to "make sense" of left over products from another time in my life.
